Posters in parliament

Posters in parliament is an annual event which brings together a collection of the best undergraduate research from across the country. This years event took place on 7 March and included two level 5 students from the department of Natural and Built Environment who showcased one of the Staff Student Research Projects from the department which focused on the question:

‘How does topography influence glacier retreat? Reconstructing 130 years of glacier retreat at contrasting glaciers in Iceland ‘

Paul Blomfield MP was invited to attend the event along with the students and academics involved in the research; it was a excellent experience with both the students and their research being very highly regarded by those in attendance.
