Hallam Big Read
This year, Hallam welcomed all new students by giving each of them a copy of the book, ‘My Name is Leon’. By doing this, they hoped to create a sense of community among new students, addressing some of the issues they may face when first settling into university life – and at least, giving them something to talk about.
On Wednesday 27 November, staff and students are invited to join Kit de Waal, award-winning author of the book, for a live Q&A event at Sheffield Hallam University’s library.
