There are four inaugural professional lectures in May which include Professor Simona Francese on 7 May who will discuss her research on fingerprint analysis, Professor Alice Bell on 16 May who will explore the world of interactive digital fiction, on 20 May Professor Paul Bingham will talk about the ‘Glass Age’ we are living in before Professor Jennifer Smith Maguire concludes on 23 May exploring the link between place and taste in artisanal wines.

Mental health awareness week, Monday 13 – Sunday 19 May 2019. This years theme is body image- how we think and feel about our bodies. See here for more information.

 

The University is running a week long series of events for mental health awareness which includes awareness training, head space mediation, a talk on faith and mental health, a lived experiences panel and suicide prevention training. Please see here for more information and tickets.
