Estates News: September

Smoke Free University

From 2 September our new campus-wide smokefree policy is introduced, in line with our ambition to enable healthier lives. We want to work towards cleaner air around campus and prevent the normalisation of smoking for younger people – this includes both tobacco and electronic cigarettes (vaping).

The policy has been hugely welcomed by staff and students. We understand that some people do smoke; it is their right to do so in their own time, but not on University premises or while they are working. If you would like to receive support to quit smoking altogether or manage it during working hours, please fill in this form.
