Our plans for #SocMedHE17<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0are well under way, the booking system<\/a> is now OPEN<\/p>\n

Information to help\u00a0you plan:<\/p>\n

18th December 2017:\u00a0pre-conference social event \u00a06pm – Late<\/strong><\/span>
\nIt will be an informal and fun evening with\u00a0plenty of space to sit, relax and socialise.
\nAll tickets\u00a0cost \u00a340 per head including buffet and some drinks. Further details will be communicated in November.<\/p>\n

19th December 2017: conference<\/span>
\n<\/strong>–\u00a0Registration will open at 8.30 am<\/strong>
\n–\u00a0We aim for the\u00a0BYOC<\/a> to start at 9.30 am<\/strong>
\n– The conference will close at 4 pm<\/strong> prompt with no plenary.
\n– Final programme will be announced in November.<\/p>\n

Location:
\n<\/strong>#SocMedHE17<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>will take place in Sheffield Hallam University’s Charles Street building, it’s a\u00a0five minute walk\u00a0from the train station and in walking distance of many of the city’s hotels. \u00a0http:\/\/www.shu.ac.uk\/university\/visit\/find-us\/city.html<\/a>\u00a0.\u00a0The pre-conference event venue is also nearby.<\/p>\n
