Social media guidelines

These guidelines are for use by Sheffield Hallam University staff. If you want to reproduce them, please ask permission.

These guidelines outline best practice in the use of social media to engage audiences, and promote the work of the University on social channels. They are intended to be enabling, and they set out ways you can use social media to support your own objectives.

There are many different social media platforms, but the principle is the same for all of them: they facilitate direct, two-way communication with our audiences.
