Studiosity is an online writing feedback service.

Receiving and then acting upon constructive feedback is one of the best ways to develop your academic writing.  Each year you are able to submit some of your academic writing to the Studiosity online writing feedback service.

The number of submissions to Studiosity is refreshed each academic year.  In the 2019/20:

  • you can submit up to 8 samples of work of up to 2,500 words each.
  • you can submit at any time and should receive your feedback within 72 hours (usually 24 hours).
  • allocations refreshed on 29th July 2019 and will reset again in July 2020.


Once you have received your feedback report there are a number ways in which you can then act upon that feedback:

  • Take the Skills Centre Skills Checkuse the feedback you have received to inform your answers in order to receive a helpful action plan.
  • Participate in a Writing Forumtake your feedback report to discuss alongside your peers, where a Learning Advisor will be on hand to provide expert guidance.
  • Book a 30 minute 1 to 1 coaching session with a Learning Advisor – you can use your Studiosity feedback report to guide your discussion and develop your academic writing and style.
  • Use online e-learning resources from the Skills Centre – our in depth Study Guides and E-learning Programmes will help you become to become an expert writer.
