New Technology Enhanced Learning Strategy approved

The University has approved a Technology Enhanced Learning Strategy for 2011-14 (available on the staff intranet currently). This can be seen as a sub-strategy for implementing elements of the new LTA Strategy related to embedding and supporting technology in the learning experience.

The strategy will be rolling in nature, updated yearly. It highlights the key aims for the University in technology enhanced learning, highlights the benefits of these aims for staff and students, and identifies some key actions to achieve them. An attached appendix includes an implementation plan with details of the work being done in the different areas.

This strategy was developed to allow us to build on our successes in the area of technology enhanced learning and continue to provide a modern and innovative learning and teaching experience.
