Call for papers: HERSG 2012 Annual Conference

The HERSG conference has a strand on pedagogy and technology-enhanced learning this year, so staff interested in technology enhanced learning may want to share their practice at the conference, and we are highlighting the call for proposals that has been sent out:

HERSG 2012 Annual Conference
Making Higher Education Count: Pedagogies for post 2012

June 22nd 2012 at Sheffield Hallam University
Keynote speaker: Professor Ron Barnett from the Institute of Education, London University

This is a Higher Education Research and Scholarship Group (HERSG) internal conference for SHU staff from all faculties to disseminate and share research they have undertaken in higher education. Following a well supported conference on action research last May, this year’s event aims to be relevant to the new challenges facing us this year with the rise of student fees and the potential implications for our practice. The conference will provide an opportunity for interdisciplinary and inter-faculty debate to stimulate research and scholarship at a variety of levels.

The deadline for abstract submission is April 30th 2012.
The conference is free to SHU staff and lunch will be provided. Details of registration and full programme will be available soon.
