peer feedback written on sticky notes attached to a student paperIn this case study, the module leader in an Engineering module used a peer-feedback activity to encourage students to self-reflect and make use of the feedback provided by their peers to improve the quality of their placement job applications. The approach developed the students’ employability skills and engagement with assessment criteria. Although the activity was undertaken in class, the case study suggests how technology can be used to enhance the approach further.

You can read more about this approach in the two-page case study entitled: Using peer feedback to enhance employability.

The module leader also discusses this approach in a video entitled: Peer to Peer (7 min 40 sec).
