Google Apps for Education – Google Forms

Google Forms

Powered by Docs’ spreadsheets, Google forms allows you to create unlimited free forms and surveys. It includes all the basic form options that you would expect – text, paragraph text, multiple choice, list, and so on. It is highly intuitive and easy to use.

To create a poll, survey,or quiz go to drive.google.com and click new and choose Google Forms. In the form template, add the questions that you want. You can also organize your form by adding headers and dividing your form into several pages. Once created you can simply share the form with collaborators, or send the form to be filled out using email addresses. Alternatively you can also get and shareable link to the form and email it.

The form results are placed automatically in a spreadsheet, and so it’s easy to analyse the results. You can also get email notifications of results and responses. You can choose to get notified as soon as a response has been recorded or opt for just daily batch notifications.

Google Forms is mobile-friendly, and the design responsive. They come with a variety of themes for you to choose from if you’re unhappy with the old-school plain white background and theme.
