Blackboard has launched a new receipting feature for students submitting a Blackboard assignment. Following submission, students will now receive an email confirming their submissions. The email receipt includes details on who submitted the work, the time of submission, the module title, the assignment title, and the name and size of the file. the email receipt will also contain the name and email address of the module leader. In the case of a group submission, all members of the group will receive an email receipt each.
A copy of the email receipt is stored under content collection on the blackboard site that the assignment is submitted on. This feature has just gone live, so any submissions made this morning should receive an email receipt confirming submission details. Any submission made before 9:00 am this morning will not receive an email receipt.
At present, there will be no changes to the process for any assessments that are not submitted through Blackboard. It is expected that current arrangements around submitting and receipting these assessments will continue. For more information and details, visit shuspace.
