There will come a point in your time at Sheffield Hallam where you just need to find some information…fast! Perhaps you need to book a study space in the learning centre because your housemates are distracting you at home, or you might want to find out where on campus you can print out the assignment that’s due in only a few hours! Or maybe you’re having a problem with your student loan application, or want to find out what the university can offer to support a disability.
Whatever your enquiry, hopefully the new and improved help directory can point you in the right direction. At the top of every tab in shuspace is now a new bar with a link to all the topics in the Directory, as well as guides on how to use shuspace itself, and a handy Search function. In addition to this, in the Help and Support tab of shuspace there is a list of Frequently Asked Questions and a directory of Key Services such as IT Help and Disabled Student Support. This tab also tells you how to access the Helpdesks for your specific faculty – so there really is no reason to suffer in silence if you have a question or problem!
