Do you want to learn about the latest social enterprise projects to support the social economy?
Sheffield Hallam University are hosting the EMES International Research Conference this summer (24th – 27th June). As part of the conference, we are showcasing projects on the practical impact of social enterprise, co-operative and voluntary action (both locally and internationally) on 24th June.
We have a limited number of bursaries for staff/students at SHU and local/charitable organisations and social enterprises (for enquiries, email David Wren).
Practitioners and researchers will exchange views and learn from each other about topics such as the creation of values driven and FairShares social enterprises, social innovation education, community investment and economies, social housing, and plans to create a cooperative university. There are also sessions looking at mental health for PhD students and early career researchers.
