Voting for Our Inspirational Student Award Winners

Purpose of the Event

The Inspirational Student Awards are an opportunity for the faculty to recognise those students who inspire others and who embody what it means to be an SBS student. Nominations close on the 11th February for the 2019 awards and we would like to take this opportunity to invite all staff within SBS to vote for the award winners on the 6th March.

This event is a chance to celebrate those shortlisted and to have your say on the winners for 2019 so please come and join us on the 6th March.

How will the event work?

The voting this year is taking place in City View, Owen Building level 12 and will be a rolling event so you can attend when you’re available. When registering your interest, select a suitable admission time and allow half an hour to an hour time for attending.

When you attend there will be a registration desk and you will be given an iPad (or similar device) for casting your vote. Around the room will be the shortlisted nomination forms for you to review at your leisure. Using the device provided you will then be able to vote for your preferred candidate from each of the categories available.

Refreshments will be available throughout the day and we encourage you to discuss the shortlisted candidates with fellow staff in the room over a tea or coffee as you’re voting.

Following the event we will collate all the votes and the winners will be invited to a celebratory evening in April after which the full list of winners will be circulated.
