Reflective Practice

Johns’ model of structured reflection

Christopher Johns has developed and refined this model over time. You can read about it in his work ‘Becoming a Reflective Practitioner’ – chapter 3 in particular.

It was designed for healthcare settings and encourages you to uncover your knowledge and assumptions.

Again – this is a popular model and you will be able to find lots of resources to help you use it, such as this one from Oxford Brookes University.
