Wellbeing Support for Alumni

If you’ve graduated from Sheffield Hallam there is still wellbeing support available to you from the following:

Help for a specific issue
Student Wellbeing practitioners have selected specific resources including online guides, podcasts and sources of external support to help with common wellbeing topics.

Big White Wall
This is available to all Sheffield Hallam students and if you’ve registered (with your SHU email address) before you leave the university, you can access support free for a further 6 months.

You could also use BWW free if you

  • reside in a location with free postcode access (you can simply check if your postcode is valid when signing up).
  • reside in a location where the NHS has commissioned BWW and therefore can access it for free on a prescription basis from your GP or IAPT service.
  • are an immediate relation (parent, spouse or child) to someone who has served/is serving in the military.

Sheffield IAPT
Sheffield IAPT (Improving Access to Psychological Therapies) offers a variety of free support to the general public, as well as running specific group sessions on campus.
