Off-campus Wellbeing Support

We recognise that some students may find it difficult to come on campus for a wellbeing appointment. For example, you may be a distance learner, on placement or have other commitments; perhaps due to a physical disability your mobility is affected; or you may simply prefer to engage with support other than face-to-face. There are a number of options available:

Big White Wall is a safe online community that offers help if you’re feeling down, anxious or not coping. People support and help each other by sharing what’s troubling them, guided by trained professionals. It can help you start to take control and get the support you need to feel better. Watch a short video and read more information here.

There is information on self-help materials and specific issues.

For specialist services, most appointments are face-to-face but by special arrangement and where appropriate, we offer telephone appointments. We also offer email counselling.
