Adsetts and Collegiate libraries are open 24/7 and our security team will be on campus to ensure your library is a welcoming and safe environment over the winter break.

Helpdesk opening times are as follows:
Monday 23rd December: 9.00am to 5pm
Tuesday 24th December: 9.00am to 1pm
Thursday 2nd January: 9.00am to 5pm
Friday 3rd January: 9.00am to 5pm

Library study spaces
There’s a choice over 2,500 study places across silent, quiet, collaborative and social learning spaces and you can book meeting rooms, PC’s, specialist PCs and meeting tables in advance
Online support
If you are off campus your library online provides a wide range of learning resources and opportunities that you can access at home or on the go. These include Reading Lists Online, Subject Guides and Library Gateway where you can discover and access a comprehensive collection of scholarly resources, including books, journals, databases and primary sources, for your course and assessment work.
There’s also Digital Skills where you can learn software or study techniques with LinkedIn Learning courses and The Skills Centre is a great place to for all students to develop their academic skills.

Apply for SCONUL access here and get the benefit of joining a partner library near you whilst you’re away!

Eduroam WiFi is a shared UK university network enabling you to get connected and online at a uni near you. It’s another bonus in applying for SCONUL access! Check it out here.
