We’re working to improve Adsetts Library

DECEMBER UPDATE
Adsetts Library level 6 – all areas are open.
We’re pleased to let you know that all areas of level 6, including the PCs, in Adsetts Library are now fully accessible. Thank you for being patient with us while we had to do work in this area.
Quick reminder – as the Libraries get busier as deadlines approach, remember you can book PCs to guarantee yourself a study space. Find out more and book a PC here.
OCTOBER UPDATE
Part of the PC areas on level 2 and level 6 are currently unavailable. If you’re looking for a Specialist Software PC you can search the software list on MyHallam to find alternative locations. You can also book a PC in the Library.
There’s also the quiet study area on level 4 which is unaffected by any building work.
IMPROVING ADSETTS LIBRARY
You might have noticed that there’s some building work currently taking place in Adsetts Library. We needed to undertake some essential maintenance over the summer, and this also presented a great opportunity to make improvements to the Library environment based on your feedback.
The Library is still open 24/7 as usual and we’re committed to keeping as much of the building accessible as possible, and limiting the amount of work we are doing at any one time. We’ve put up netting in the building for safety, and some areas will be temporarily closed in order for the work to progress.
We’re sorry if this has caused you any inconvenience. If you’d like to give us any feedback then please leave us a comment on this blog post. Your comments won’t be publicly visible and if you’d like a reply then please leave your email address.
We’ll be tweeting any updates, and also adding to this blog post to let you know how the work’s progressing.
