There are no silly questions!
No question is too big or too small!
Are you frustrated by something?
Have you got an amazing idea?
Can we make it better for you?
Have you had a good experience?
Are we getting it right for you?
Is something broken or not working?
Remember if you have an idea, suggestion, thought, problem, issue, question – just tell us! We may not always have the answer but the sooner you tell us, the sooner we’ll find out who does and if we can’t do something we’ll tell you why not.

Partner students don’t have access to a pc/able to book a room which is very frustrating. Yes we have access to services at Sheffield college but those resources are catered to btec/gcse and only have 2 quiet rooms which are full of young students larking about.
I suggest that partner students be given a log in for the pcs so we can have full access to the IT systems, or even just a pc to work.
Atm I’m having to take my laptop into colligate library but also as a partner student we only have access to eduroam where the connections are terrible and I’m having to constantly hotspot my mobile in order to do research.
Hi Claire, I’m investigating this and will get back to you.
Hi Claire – as you might imagine nothing is as simple as you’d think it should be! Special arrangements have to be made with all our partner institutions in terms of licensing to both online and computer software access. I will pass on your comments about Eduroam to our IT team. In the meantime we do have a walk in access machine in each of the libraries which gives access to a number of electronic resources, you can find out more here http://libguides.shu.ac.uk/walkin/licensed.
If you haven’t done so already, I would also suggest that you make course leader aware of any issues you are having in terms of resources.
