No 4. Access academic skills resources at home
Studiosity is a writing feedback service developed for 1st years undergraduate students who are starting to use academic writing at university level.
  • How does it work?
You just have to submit an almost complete draft of an essay online (up to a maximum of 2500 words). You will receive a written feedback within 24 hours.
  • What kind of feedback will I receive?
Structure, language, referencing, grammar, topic development will be assessed.
  • Who is giving the feedback?
The online tutors are experts in how to write a good academic essay (they are not subject specialists). They might be based in Australia, Canada, New Zealand or South Africa. Please note that they won’t proofread your essay in detail, but they will be able to understand if there are reoccurring mistakes.
  • How long will it take?
This amazing service gives you the opportunity to get feedback before submitting your work at SHU. For this reason, you have to be sure that you have an almost final version to submit to the Studiosity service. Then, it will take up to 24 hours to get the feedback. Make sure you have enough time to make changes before your submission deadline!
