Through a campus-wide subscription, all Sheffield Hallam University staff and students now have access to Lynda.com – an online video library with tutorials from experts in IT. These instructional guides can improve your grasp of new technology tools and help you learn to use the latest IT packages and software.

You can access the library 24/7 from any PC or a smartphone, tablet or laptop. You can learn in bite-sized chunks or watch entire courses at a time. Playlists help you keep track of what you’d like to learn and bookmarks will let you remember where you last finished watching.

To start using Lynda.com, go to http://go.shu.ac.uk/lynda.using these instructions which explain how to access it.

To see the benefits of using Lynda, have a look at this video. You might also want to check out these tutorials which cover things staff often ask us about.
