Dell vWorkspace is an application that allows users via a portal to access Remote Desktop Servers (Terminal Servers), individual workstations (VDI) and Windowed Applications from devices running a number of different operating systems, including Windows, Mac OS X, Linux, IOS and Android.
Users are assigned to resources that will then be available within either a web browser interface or a portal, and these resources are available both inside and outside the University.
There are currently a number of live services using vWorkspace for Teaching and Learning, and a few services still under consideration.
In order to try and ensure the installation and configuration of the vWorkspace connectors is as seamless as possible, IS&T have produced documentation and auto-configuration settings files to install and configure the connectors for Windows, OS X, IOS and Android.
