Hallam football finance expert Rob Wilson spoke to the Sunday Express<\/a> about the current ‘out of control’ spending by Premier League clubs in this summer’s transfer window. Rob discusses the reason behind the record-spending, with the ‘hyper-inflation’ of transfer fees English clubs are paying being a consequence of the new TV deal.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sheffield Hallam football finance expert Rob Wilson has been interviewed by the media, as PSG confirmed their signing of Neymar from Barcelona for a world-record fee of nearly \u00a3200m. Rob spoke to Reuters, with his comments appearing on the Mail Online<\/a>, Yahoo Sport<\/a>, Eurosport<\/a>, and titles in countries including Brazil<\/a>, USA<\/a> and India. An interview with Rob has also been used in news bulletins on dozens of regional BBC radio stations this morning and several regional print titles.\u00a0Rob was interviewed on BBC News at Ten (watch feature here<\/a> from 16:28 – and Rob from 18:20) and spoke to the Daily Telegraph<\/a>.
