{"id":423,"date":"2017-06-19T08:34:46","date_gmt":"2017-06-19T08:34:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.shu.ac.uk\/hwbstaffnews\/?p=423"},"modified":"2017-07-17T12:01:14","modified_gmt":"2017-07-17T12:01:14","slug":"what-is-an-operating-model","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.shu.ac.uk\/hwbstaffnews\/2017\/06\/19\/what-is-an-operating-model\/","title":{"rendered":"What is an Operating Model?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Professional and Support Services Operating Model (PSOM)\u00a0project has been initiated in response to our new <a href=\"https:\/\/staff.shu.ac.uk\/universitystrategy\/\">University Strategy\u200b<\/a> and its accompanying <a href=\"https:\/\/staff.shu.ac.uk\/universitystrategy\/Documents\/Implementation%20plan%20-%20final.pdf\">implementation plan<\/a>. The central team headed up by Project Director for the Professional and Support Services Operating Model Project, Libby Wilson are currently working on Phase 1 of the project due to be completed at the end of July 2017.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"ms-rtefontsize-31\">The goal of this phase is to produce a high-level design for a single operating model.
