We hosted the Social Work Practice Educator Conference on 24th<\/sup> April 2017. \u00a0160 Social Work Practice Educators from across South Yorkshire, Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire gathered to hear about developments in the social work profession and consider different approaches to tackling current challenges in teaching, supervising and assessing students on placement.<\/p>\n

Delegates from statutory and third sector agencies\u00a0heard speakers from Skills for Care, Health and Care Professions Council, Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council and Framework speak on the latest thinking and developments in social work education.<\/p>\n

Delegates were able to debate the future direction of social work education and network with colleagues from across sectors.<\/p>\n
