\"\"<\/a>A message from Alison Metcalfe, Pro Vice-Chancellor of the Faculty of Health and Wellbeing<\/em><\/p>\n

Dear Colleagues,<\/span><\/p>\n

Members of our Faculty Leadership Team recently met with the faculty LICC to discuss the outcomes of the Wellbeing Survey and to gain initial feedback on the main two priority areas that scored the lowest, which were \u2018demands\u2019 and \u2018change\u2019.<\/span><\/p>\n

It was agreed to look at options around a short, medium and long term approach with potential to look initially at any quick wins which could bring about improvements in areas such as support from managers and communication.<\/span><\/p>\n

LICC members also agreed to act as members of a new Wellbeing Steering Group, comprising a good cross section of staff who can offer perspectives in their areas.\u00a0 The steering group will also consider the impact that change has on demands and support.<\/span><\/p>\n

Over the coming weeks you will have the opportunity to volunteer to attend workshops sharing ideas and potential solutions to the issues that have been raised in the survey results and feedback. If you\u2019re interested in attending one of these workshops, please contact the <\/span>HWB Staff Engagement Team<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Once the workshops are complete, the outcomes will be collated and reported to FLT in order to determine how we can work with colleagues to support their wellbeing.<\/span><\/p>\n
