\"\"<\/a>A message from Alison Metcalfe, Pro Vice Chancellor for the Faculty of Health and Wellbeing<\/em><\/p>\n

Over the last few months, students have been asked to nominate staff who have made an inspirational or transformative impact on their student experience through their teaching or the support that they have provided.<\/p>\n

It is wonderful to see so many colleagues from the Faculty of Health and Wellbeing nominated for these awards by our students. This was\u00a0followed with a review by colleagues and peers to select the overall winners from the faculty who are then put forward for University level awards.<\/p>\n

Receiving a nomination for an Inspirational Teaching Award, Outstanding Student Support or an Inspirational Research Supervisor Award demonstrates that students appreciate the way they have been inspired, motivated, encouraged and supported during their studies, which is a credit to the winners’ and nominees’ diligent work and contribution to the University. To win\u00a0an award at faculty level shows that your peers and colleagues also recognise the significant contribution made.\u00a0Others will go on to\u00a0achieve recognition at university level, competing against winners from other faculties.<\/p>\n

The Health & Wellbeing Faculty Leadership Team will host a celebratory lunch for all the winners to recognise their achievements in providing an invaluable contribution to our students\u2019 experience, and to also show our appreciation of the skill, time and effort colleagues make.<\/p>\n
