She then joined the NHS training centre at Lodge Moor, Sheffield, which later became a part of the University as the Centre for Professional and Organisational Development.<\/p>\n<p>Susan was awarded an Inspirational Teaching Award in 2011.<\/p>\n<p>A further \u00a31,700 in donations has since been raised by Susan&#8217;s friends and family which will be added to the award fund.<\/p>\n<p>Dr Christopher Low, a former colleague of Susan&#8217;s, said: &#8220;Susan was passionate about health and social care and how integrating these two aspects of care can improve patient experience and health and wellbeing.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;At Sheffield Hallam, she was able to share that passion with our students as well as leading and supporting research into how we can improve the link between healthcare and social care.
