Today marks the start of Graduation 2018 for the Faculty. Thank you to all the staff that will be involved over the next three days\u00a0to make these\u00a0events special.\u00a0Graduation is\u00a0the culmination of all the hard work of our students, staff and partners, giving us the opportunity to celebrate the outstanding\u00a0work of our Faculty and University.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Graduation<\/strong><\/p>\n

There are six ceremonies, starting today and the final one being\u00a0on Friday at 2.30pm.<\/p>\n

Whether you are involved as a member\u00a0of the platform party, public orator, as a chief\u00a0academic\/academic\/general\u00a0steward your contribution helps make these days a celebration to remember.<\/p>\n

It is also\u00a0a chance to celebrate our Inspirational Teachers, Inspirational Researchers and\u00a0Outstanding Student Support award winners.\u00a0\u00a0New for this year, we will have the announcement for the National Teaching Fellows Award.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Prize-giving<\/strong><\/p>\n

We have three prize-giving ceremonies that run in between the graduation ceremonies. Held at Hallam Hall, we invite student prize winners to attend with their families to receive the awards\u00a0that have been nominated by departments.<\/p>\n

Each year a\u00a0select number\u00a0staff are\u00a0invited by the department to attend as a chance\u00a0to network\u00a0with our Sponsors and create connections with our alumni.<\/p>\n

Good luck to all involved and wishing all\u00a0our students every success in the years to come.<\/p>\n

Don’t forget to celebrate the achievements of our students on social media by using\u00a0#WeAreHallam<\/strong> on Twitter and Instagram.<\/p>\n
