{"id":2262,"date":"2018-08-02T09:31:59","date_gmt":"2018-08-02T09:31:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.shu.ac.uk\/hwbstaffnews\/?p=2262"},"modified":"2018-08-02T09:31:59","modified_gmt":"2018-08-02T09:31:59","slug":"congratulations","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.shu.ac.uk\/hwbstaffnews\/2018\/08\/02\/congratulations\/","title":{"rendered":"Congratulations!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><em>Dr Toni Schwarz, Interim Deputy Dean.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I am\u00a0delighted to inform you\u00a0that there have been a number of new appointments made within the faculty.<\/p>\n<p>Paula Procter from the Department of Nursing and Midwifery has been awarded the title of &#8216;Professor of Nursing Informatics&#8217; by the Professoriate Committee.\u00a0 This is of course an incredible achievement and testament to Paula\u2019s leading work in the field.\u00a0 You can hear more about Paula&#8217;s work at her upcoming professorial lecture. Further information will be posted on the blog in due course.<\/p>\n<p>Jo Benn has been seconded to work at the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) looking at international standards.<\/p>\n<p>Susan Wakefield has been appointed to the role of Interim\u00a0Head of Department for\u00a0Nursing and Midwifery.<\/p>\n<p>Dr Jo Lidster\u00a0and Dr Rachael Spencer have been appointed\u00a0as Deputy Heads of Department for Nursing and Midwifery.
