Dr Toni Schwarz, Interim Deputy Dean.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I am\u00a0delighted to inform you\u00a0that there have been a number of new appointments made within the faculty.<\/p>\n

Paula Procter from the Department of Nursing and Midwifery has been awarded the title of ‘Professor of Nursing Informatics’ by the Professoriate Committee.\u00a0 This is of course an incredible achievement and testament to Paula\u2019s leading work in the field.\u00a0 You can hear more about Paula’s work at her upcoming professorial lecture. Further information will be posted on the blog in due course.<\/p>\n

Jo Benn has been seconded to work at the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) looking at international standards.<\/p>\n

Susan Wakefield has been appointed to the role of Interim\u00a0Head of Department for\u00a0Nursing and Midwifery.<\/p>\n

Dr Jo Lidster\u00a0and Dr Rachael Spencer have been appointed\u00a0as Deputy Heads of Department for Nursing and Midwifery. Jo\u00a0has been appointed into the Postgraduate role and Rachael into the Pre-Registration post.<\/p>\n
