This generally means opting for wholegrains, leafy vegetables, fruit, nuts and seeds alongside sources of protein instead of reaching for starchy, refined foods that provide a sugar rush followed by an energy crash. The diet is very high in protein and has made a significant improvement in McDonnell&#8217;s performance levels.
