Technical Resources support teaching, learning and assessment in the Faculty of Health and Wellbeing. The team is based in the Robert Winston Building, which hosts the Simulated Healthcare Facility (SHF).
The SHF provides a safe, controlled and supportive environment in which students can study and practice before entering the healthcare world. Areas are designed to replicate specific healthcare settings allowing students to gain valuable hands-on experience and to develop skills and knowledge through simulated exercises.
The Technical Resources team provides support for the Nursing and Midwifery and Allied Health Professionals departments. Our aim is to enhance the student learning experience through high quality support services. This could be supporting session delivery; creating web and digital resources; or creating opportunities for students to practice their skills.
