WELCOME TO THE HEALTHCARE TORS WEBSITE
The Technical Operations, Resources and Services Clinical Simulation team support teaching, learning and assessment in the College of Health, Wellbeing and Life Sciences. The technical team is based across both Robert Winston Building and Heart of the Campus (Collegiate Wing), which host our main Simulated Healthcare Facilities (SHF). Health Technical Resources Desk (F306) is open Mon-Thu 0830-1700, Fri 0830-1630. There may be ad-hoc times that we need to close for 10-15 minutes to help sort out a troublesome patient. HEALTHCARE SIMULATION
Healthcare simulation utilises specialised mannequins, environments and equipment to provide immersive and practical learning experiences for healthcare students. Our state-of-the-art simulation center features advanced patient simulators that breathe, blink, and respond to interventions.
CLINICAL EQUIPMENT
We have a wide range of Clinical equipment available for loan. Loan periods range from 1 day to a whole semester. Click the icon above or contact us to see if we have what you need. To borrow equipment, you’ll just need your staff or student SHU card.
