Aim
This session specifically supports reviewers to confidently prepare for and have effective review conversations to support the performance and development of staff.
Objectives:
By the end of the session, you will be able to:
- Utilise a range of tools, techniques and guidance to develop your approach to the performance and development review within an academic context.
- Identify the verbal and non-verbal behaviours that contribute to effective review conversations.
- Apply best practice responses to common situations/challenges.
- Produce an action plan to develop the skills required to deliver an effective review conversation
