PFHEA Hallam Guild Group

Purpose of the proposed group

A Hallam Guild Group would be the first step in creating visibility and accessibility to untapped academic resource. The group will contribute to the academic debate within SHU, drawing on the expertise of the national / international PFHEA network as well as other relevant networks and agencies. It will raise the profile of Teaching and Learning through supporting colleagues to achieve PFHEA status, and offer expertise in relation to the challenges faced by the University in this area, where appropriate. It is open to all SHU PFHEAs as well as all those who aspire to become a PFHEA.

Objectives of the proposed group

  • To inform the academic debate within SHU through engaging with a range of networks, both internal and external to SHU, as well as relevant agencies such as Advance HE.
  • To provide support and mentorship to colleagues aspiring to achieving PFHEA status.
  • To offer / help source expertise on a range of academic aspects where appropriate.
