February 3 @ 1:00 pm - 1:45 pmFree
Are you collecting data as part of your role/course at SHU? Do you know about your responsibilities and obligations in relation to data protection legislation?
Join the Hallam Guild Ethics IR group for this session to learn about GDPR and how it effects the collection of personal data, what documentation you are expected to produce, and some helpful tips on how to make your data as secure as possible. This will be useful for any student working with personal data in research and evaluation, or within roles as student representatives. It may also be useful for staff members who are supporting student researchers.
