| Charmaine provides professional and academic leadership in the development of academic strategy, policies and procedures in the areas of learning and teaching with a specific responsibility for employability in the curriculum.
She actively explores and develops innovative ideas and solutions to improve student engagement with the employability offer at the University.
Charmaine's principle success has been the development of the University's Venture Matrix Scheme, which allows colleagues to integrate experiential learning into taught course. For this work, Charmaine won the EEUK National Enterprise Educators Award in 2010. She is also a Senior Fellow of the HEA. |

| Currently the Teaching Fellow in Work Based Learning for ACES faculty; supporting the development of placement opportunities for undergraduate students. He is based in the Department of Computing and is the current course leader for Business and Enterprise Group courses, running the vibrant enterprise programme for around 250 students. His career experience spans a range of industries that includes companies such as BAe Systems and Tesco. For several years he was a successful business advisor in the creative and digital sector, placing around £1million in regional grants and funding.
His innovative approach to course development and management has supported consistent achievements in the NSS. His early research career resulted in a range of high impact publications with over 200 citations, but is now recognised as inspirational by his students in the delivery of enterprise and employability education. | | | | |

| Charlotte is the Employer Engagement and Employability Lead for Psychology, Sociology and Politics. Her work covers three key strands: 1. To develop and maintain working relationships with employers from diverse groups who will engage with staff and students in developing curriculum, careers and research activity, 2. To initiate placement agreements with providers and troubleshoot difficulties before, during or after placement experienced by students, staff or employers, 3. To identify, develop and deliver employability raising activities and events both in and out of the curriculum. | | | | |
