{"id":1833,"date":"2020-02-06T16:33:42","date_gmt":"2020-02-06T16:33:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.shu.ac.uk\/goglobal\/?p=1833"},"modified":"2020-02-06T16:33:42","modified_gmt":"2020-02-06T16:33:42","slug":"ba-graphic-design-visit-shu","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.shu.ac.uk\/goglobal\/2020\/02\/06\/ba-graphic-design-visit-shu\/","title":{"rendered":"BA Graphic Design Visit &#8211; SHU"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>BA (Hons) Graphic Design, 3rd year students at Sheffield Hallam University had the amazing opportunity to experience back to back two study visits to integral establishments in the landscape of Malaysian graphic design &#8211; <strong>Malaysia Design Archive<\/strong> (MDA) and the <strong>Fictionist Studio<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>At Malaysia Design Archive (MDA), our students were introduced to MDA\u2019s efforts of preserving visual history and culture, through organising and sustaining an independent archive. They dove deep into a treasure trove of visual materials and absorbed the visual aesthetics of Malaysian design history.
