You should contact your country&#8217;s embassy, consulate, high commission or passport office in the country where the loss or theft occurred for information on how to obtain a replacement passport. It is possible that there may be a considerable wait to obtain a replacement passport or travel document. This is not something which the Home Office\u00a0nor the University can influence.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Applying for a replacement vignette visa outside the UK<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you are no longer in possession of your passport or visa vignette (sticker inside your passport), then you will\u00a0need to apply for a replacement using the transfer of conditions form. There will be a vignette transfer fee for the service. Further information can be found in the Entry Clearance Guidance on the Home Office\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/publications\/transferring-a-visa-to-a-new-passport-ecb17\">website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Students who lose their BRP Cards in the UK<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you are no longer in possession of your BRP then you will need to report it via: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/biometric-residence-permits\/lost-stolen-damaged\">gov.uk\/biometric-residence-permits\/lost-stolen-damaged<\/a><\/p>\n<p>If the student finds the BRP they will not be able to use it after its report as lost or stolen because the chip will be cancelled.<br \/>\nIf the BRP was valid for 3 months or more, report it and order a replacement <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/biometric-residence-permits\/lost-stolen-damaged\">online<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>If your BRP had less than 3 months validity left, you do not need to get a replacement.
