{"id":800,"date":"2014-11-20T14:26:19","date_gmt":"2014-11-20T14:26:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.shu.ac.uk\/isnews\/?p=800"},"modified":"2014-11-20T14:26:19","modified_gmt":"2014-11-20T14:26:19","slug":"international-student-visa-registration-event-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.shu.ac.uk\/global\/international-student-visa-registration-event-2\/","title":{"rendered":"International Student Visa Registration Event"},"content":{"rendered":"<h5 style=\"text-align: justify\">Are you an international student studying at SHU on a visa?<\/h5>\n<h5 style=\"text-align: justify\">You must attend a registration event organised by the Student Systems and Records team.<\/h5>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">You should have received an email to your student account on Wednesday 19th November 2014.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>The event will take place during week commencing Monday 1st \u2013 Thursday 4th December 2014.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">It is a legal requirement as part of your visa to attend the registration event.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">If you are unable to attend for any reason \u2013 for example if you are currently on placement or will be absent \u2013 you must urgently respond to tier4reporting@shu.ac.uk with full details.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>If you have any queries regarding the December Registration, please email tier4reporting@shu.ac.uk. Failure to register could result in serious consequences for your visa.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Please note, Research students will also be instructed by email to register at specific Helpdesks for their given Faculty as follows:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Development and Society: Owen level 11 Helpdesk<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Sheffield Business School: SHIP Helpdesk, Stoddart Building<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Health and Wellbeing: Robert Winston Building (Collegiate) or Owen Level 7 Helpdesk (City)<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 ACES (both MERI and C3RI): Sheaf Helpdesk<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Are you an international student studying at SHU on a visa?
