{"id":4701,"date":"2017-12-24T15:00:23","date_gmt":"2017-12-24T15:00:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.shu.ac.uk\/global\/?p=4701"},"modified":"2018-10-16T08:45:17","modified_gmt":"2018-10-16T08:45:17","slug":"christmas-closures-and-support","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.shu.ac.uk\/global\/christmas-closures-and-support\/","title":{"rendered":"Christmas closures and support"},"content":{"rendered":"<blockquote><p>As you may know, Christmas and New Year are coming up, and this means that the University will be closed for a period for festive celebrations!<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Sheffield Hallam University will close on\u00a0<strong>Friday 22 December<\/strong>\u00a0and re-open on\u00a0<strong>Tuesday 2 January<\/strong>\u00a0due to the festive period, meaning that the International Experience Team and Student Services Reception will also be closed.<\/p>\n<p>Both Adsetts and the Collegiate libraries will still be open\u00a0\u2013 as they are 365 days a year, 24\/7\u00a0\u2013 but will have no helpdesk support available.<\/p>\n<p>Christmas can be a lonely time, especially if your friends are travelling home, leaving you in Sheffield over the festive period.
