Being a mentee involves\u00a0sharing your\u00a0experiences with your mentor,\u00a0two-way learning and being open to challenge where necessary.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #333333;text-align: justify\">There will be regular training opportunities and networking events to support you. \u00a0As a volunteer for the university, you are eligible to apply for the Hallam Award, which is highly regarded by employers.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #333333;text-align: justify\">Read some\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.shu.ac.uk\/isnews\/2014\/08\/29\/193\/\">student case studies<\/a>\u00a0about the scheme and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/shusls.qualtrics.com\/SE\/?SID=SV_eOKTCSP90Glxj5H\" target=\"_blank\">apply for the scheme.\u00a0<\/a>The deadline to apply\u00a0is\u00a0<span style=\"font-style: inherit;color: inherit\">Wednesday 8 October\u00a0at 5pm<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #333333;text-align: justify\">*Please note: places are strictly limited.
