{"id":3093,"date":"2016-04-15T13:38:44","date_gmt":"2016-04-15T13:38:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.shu.ac.uk\/global\/?p=3093"},"modified":"2016-04-15T13:41:58","modified_gmt":"2016-04-15T13:41:58","slug":"snooker-world-championships","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.shu.ac.uk\/global\/snooker-world-championships\/","title":{"rendered":"Snooker World Championships"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Snooker&#8217;s greatest tournament returns to the <strong>Crucible<\/strong> in <strong>Sheffield<\/strong> from the <em>16th of April<\/em>, and you can get involved!<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>BBC<\/strong> will be coming to town and bring a whole host of events and activities, so even if you&#8217;re not into the snooker, there&#8217;s still plenty to do.<\/p>\n<p><b>BBC Get Inspired<\/b> will be laying on a range of free sporting activities in and around the<b> Winter Garden<\/b> from <em>Friday, 1 May &#8211; Monday, 4 May<\/em>, including a climbing wall and a\u00a0virtual cycle of the Tour de Yorkshire.<\/p>\n<p>The main event though is definitely the high-quality, exciting snooker that&#8217;s on show.
