The university’s asbestos register is changing.

During August the way you access the university’s asbestos register will change.
The asbestos portal, currently located on the MiCAD system will be relocated to InVIDA.

You should have access to the university’s asbestos register if;
• You organise or carry out work on the university estate that has the potential to disturb the buildings’ fabric or services within the buildings
• You organise or carry out any work that involves access to restricted areas such as plantrooms, risers and basements
• You organise or carry out any work that involves accessing of ceiling / roof voids
• You invite external contractors or consultants on to our estate to carry out any of the above activities

If you already have a user account for InVIDA then you do not need to take any action at this stage.

If you do not currently have a user account for InVIDA then you should email Estates
Instructions on how to set up a user account will then be issued by reply.
You should do this as soon as possible so that we can ensure all users have operational accounts prior to the go live date.
Further communications will be issued closer to go live date, training and user guides will be provided as appropriate.
