Mindfulness Conference
The University is hosting a Third Mindfulness Based Life Enhancement Conference which will take place on Saturday 23 March 2019, from 9am to 4pm, and is now open for bookings. The theme will be “Celebrating our Sheffield Mindfulness Community”. This will be an informal gathering, taking place in the Stoddart Building in Sheffield Hallam University. We will have meditation practice and mindful movement. We will review where we are now as a community, and look at current developments. And there will be plenty of time to share our experience of mindfulness practice, exploring ways to keep our practice going.
We will also discuss future directions for our Mindfulness Community. As part of this, we have been talking to Cohesion Sheffield [http://www.cohesionsheffield.co.uk/], and we will be including discussion during the Conference on how our desire to create a Mindful Sheffield can help their aims. So this will be a great opportunity for you to meet others in our ever-growing community, to share ideas and experience, and to help us to grow even further in the future and share the benefits of mindfulness. You can Book Tickets Here. Cost is £21.55 including refreshments and a light lunch.
