Last week some of the team got together with Jon Moon who delivered a session on ‘Clarity & Impact’. Lizzie Morgan from the Strategic Planning and Intelligence team  is here to give us an update on some of the things she learned from her session.

6 things I learnt about being clear and having impact

Jean and I ran a workshop on Wednesday. When I updated our PowerPoint slides, I tried to put the theory into practice:Workshop: HE policy and a brief history of universities in England – book now on CORE portal!

Using the WiT structure forced us to boil down our main points and to avoid overloading our slides with detail. The attendees could see what we were saying at a glance, and we were less inclined/able to read from the slides (an absolute no no! – see link above). It worked well.
