The Friday Feeling 01/09/2017

Back fresh bright eyed and bushy tailed after a holiday here I am… oh no wait… I’m still sleepy from busy bank holiday break. The bright eyed, bushy tailed ones are the children who will be returning to school next week and I’m sure giving their parents some much needed time to breathe after having them at home for 6 weeks! Congrats to everyone who made it through, working, holidaying whilst wrangling their children and kept their marbles to-boot!!

Everyone else, leave home 15 minutes earlier on Monday the traffic is back…

Oh Burbage how I love thee!

Changes to The Friday Feeling

So this week starts off with an announcement about The Friday Feeling, Vanessa and I have decided to make the blog every 2 weeks, the reason for the change is content. We are keen to bring something to you which you enjoy reading with some good quality stuff packed in (sounds like an advertisement for a Big Mac), moving the blog to every 2 weeks will mean we can be more selective about what we bring you but also bring better quality too! Moving forward the blog with be alternate weeks with e-view, our next one will be Friday 15th September.

If you have anything you would like including on the blog please email Vanessa or Myself to our new shiny ! Finance and Planning (Comms and Events) inbox!

Team Photo Reminder

Don’t forget about our team photo competition! Now, I’ve heard some rumblings from Floor 1 about some photo based shenanigans which are about to go down, so the competition is definitely getting hot. I for one am well excited to see the submissions, I know we’re a creative bunch and we love a competition, I can feel the gloves coming off! Ding ding!

What’s on?

Sheffield Walking Festival – now you all know I love walking , I cover some serious mileage on the mean streets and woodland reserve in Grenoside, so this one is a bit for me! The festival is running from the 8th – 17th September and has a whole host of walks for all abilities. Jackson and I might see you on one too!

Chatsworth Country Fair – running from 1-3 September the fair is back for another year.  The fair will see the Royal Air Force fly over on Saturday and Sunday, the White Helmets motorcycle display team and one to not be missed the Dog and Duck show! OMG!

What else?
