Family Fun Day – TODAY
The SHU Family Fun Day is on now – until 3pm today. Hallam Square is the main welcome point and you can expect to find representation from various teams from across SHU who will be showcasing some of their talents:

- Treasure Hunt
Phishing attack
Staff are once again being targeted in an email phishing attack – please remember to be vigilant when receiving emails and report anything suspicious. You can find out more on our IT pages – or if you want a reminder of what phishing is check out our cybercrime training again.
Transforming Lives – BAGU
The Building a Great University board met on 11 July and have uploaded the notes from their meeting. Some of the topics discussed were the HR People plan, PSOM and web strategy.
They also have an update on a big project they are working on for sandwich placements and how they are managed across all 4 faculties – some of our colleagues in Strategic Portfolio & Business Change (formerly BIS) have been working on this – to find out more click here.

What’s on?
Summer BBQ – Tonight 50 of us are heading out for a typical British BBQ (come rain or shine!) at Leopold Square from 6:00. For those of you who are especially thirsty we will see you at Cubanas from 5:30 pm…keep an eye out on the blog next week to find out what we all got up to!
Dog Jog or Fun Run – On 13 Aug at Rother Valley country park you can take part in a 5k fun run or dog job – find out more or sign up here.
Sheffield by the sea – on now until the end of August, in the city centre you will find all the fun of the sea – in the Peace Gardens!
